Informational nature
RookPDF tools are provided for general information and document-processing purposes. They are not legal, financial, medical or professional advice, and no content on this site should be treated as such.
Keep your own backups
Processing runs entirely in your browser and output is delivered as downloads. Always keep an original copy of your documents before processing, because in-browser changes cannot be recovered after the browser tab is closed.
No guarantee of correctness
While RookPDF aims to be reliable, browser-based processing is not guaranteed to be error-free. Verify the output of any tool before relying on it for important documents. Converted, compressed, signed or otherwise processed files may differ from the original.
OCR limitations
Optical character recognition is automated and its accuracy depends on scan quality, layout, language and legibility. OCR results should always be reviewed, especially for legal, medical or financial documents.
Conversion and compression limitations
Format conversions (such as PDF to Word or Word to PDF) extract text that browser libraries can read and may not preserve complex layout, embedded images, tables, fonts or annotations. Compression may achieve little on already-optimized or image-heavy files.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the files you process, for having the right to process them, and for the use you make of the results. RookPDF does not upload, store or retain your documents.
