A closer look at Extract Pages
Extract Pages exports only the pages you select into a new PDF. Use clicks, ranges, odd/even selection or blank-page detection to build the extraction, and the chosen pages are collected into a single new document in their original order.
This is the tool when a recipient needs a subset of a larger file: one signature page out of a long contract, the relevant chapters of a report, or a small summary packet you can share without giving away the whole document.
Unlike Split, which creates separate files, Extract produces one PDF containing the selected pages. The operation runs entirely in your browser and the new file is downloaded locally.

What to keep in mind
- Pages are exported in their original order.
- At least one page must be selected.
- Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Extraction copies pages as-is; it does not recompress them, so run Compress PDF if the output is large.
Troubleshooting
The output has fewer pages than expected
Check the selection count in the preview before processing. Extraction only includes pages that are selected, in their original order.
I need pages spread across several PDFs
Extract the needed pages from each file, then use Merge PDF to combine the extractions into one document.
